Android Auto has been around for a long time now, but its wireless connection has been a staple on Nexus and Pixel phones so far. Now, according to a new Google support document on the Android Auto page, wireless performance has been brought to the Samsung Galaxy S8, S9 and S10 alongside the Note8 and Note9.
Users of these mobile phones and car compatible with Android Auto will be able to enjoy a free phone experience. The first setup should still be the USB connection, though. The only requirement is that the phone is running Android 9 Pie with version 4.7 of Android Auto mode.
