Samsung introduced the Galaxy Times in February, but later decided to cancel the launch because of the lack of sound quality in long-term cases. The company re-insert The Galaxy Times last month, with its improved design, and the tears of the crowd at iFixit, let us take a closer look at what Samsung and the new Fold have changed.
To begin with, Samsung has closed the gaps on each side of the screen with a protective cover to prevent dust and other particles from entering. The company also covers the inner hinges with a removable tape to keep dirt away from the surface.
The Galaxy Times comes with a metal brass plate to reinforce the screen. Well, the screen protector extends all the way to the edges of the screen so you don’t have to pull it off as some reviewers did with the old text of the cover.
Despite all these changes, the Samsung Galaxy Times is still a weak device, and more importantly, it is difficult to fix since the smartphone received a 2 out of 10 rating from iFixit.
