The development of President Donald Trump is a challenge that is very easy to understand: it was a law to ask for help from a foreign government in the elections, and Trump and his allies tried to overthrow the new government of Ukraine to dig mud on former Vice President Joe Biden, by holding a relief fund.
How do we know this? Because Trump has a lot of officials they send text messages about. Here is one from Bill Taylor, an officer at the US Embassy in Ukraine, to Gordon Sondland, the US Ambassador to the EU, on September 1, 2019:
Have we been told that it was safe to come and WH meet at events?
Sondland will simply answer “call me”, a strong answer 1) if you suspect that the DM side is approaching, or 2 you are a person named by Trump because you will find a paper mark that may not really matter .
However, Taylor beat Sondland on September 9, 2019, to recount the crimes:
As I said on the phone, I think it is crazy to keep security grants to help with politics.
Five hours later, after the call talk and TriumphSondland wrote that the president “simply understood that there is no quid pro quo of all kinds” and that “he said he should stop at the back for the article.
If there is one lesson that everyone can learn from the negative, the Trump administration is clear, this is: please stop sending phone calls about wrongdoing.
In fact, earlier today, Attorney General William Barr an open letter to Facebook asking it to end its plan to encrypt its messaging apps until a back door is built for law enforcement.
